Seamless communication for every application

The easyE4 delivers secure, flexible connectivity across machine building, building automation, and IoT environments. With support for Ethernet, Modbus TCP/RTU, easyNET, MQTT, and JSON API, it integrates effortlessly into local systems as well as cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and other cloud services.

Remote I/O via easyNET enables distributed control without additional programming, while MQTT connectivity ensures fast, secure, and scalable data exchange with cloud and IoT platforms. Thanks to encrypted communications, broad protocol compatibility, and cloud readiness, the easyE4 provides reliable, future‑ready networking—whether in machines, technical installations, smart buildings, or connected IoT architectures.

Integrated Ethernet interface

The easyE4 features an integrated Ethernet interface with an RJ45 connector. This high-performance interface is not only compatible with various communication protocols, but is also encrypted using our own easyE4 certificates for protection against cyber-attacks. The various communication options are described below.

Connect multiple easyE4 devices with ease

The integrated NET network function enables several easyE4 devices in the same network to communicate with each other via Ethernet. If multiple easyE4 devices are included in a project, the easySoft software will automatically configure the NET connection allowing data to be exchanged smoothly between them. The data of an easyE4 device can also be temporarily stored on a NET marker and displayed on another device

JSON API (Application Programming Interface)

JSON API is a programming interface for exchanging JSON objects between the easyE4 and connected web modules via API using the built-in Ethernet connection. This allows the easyE4 to communicate with development environments such as Node-Red and various other systems, for example those used for (home) automation. The interface provides write and read access to the easyE4's data and parameters, without the need for an internet connection.
